Genetic Screening and Infection History

This subsection appears in the Ob Episode tab of the patient chart

1. In the OB Episode tab of the patient encounter or chart, locate the Genetic Screening and Infection History section.
2. For each question, select Yes or No from the menu and record any additional comments in the Notes field. You can use the Notes field to enter an associated diagnosis, if desired.
3. Click Save.

When the provider signs off and saves the encounter, the patient's chart is automatically updated with the information recorded in this section.

If the summary counterpart to this section (Genetic Screening and Infection History Summary) is included in the encounter form, the information recorded in this section is automatically added to the encounter summary when the provider signs off and saves the encounter.

Note: This encounter section also appears on the Ob tab of the encounter form. You can configure this section using the Configure Genetic Screening and infection History page.
